Our Grassroots

Backed by 26 years experience.

Matt Lagerberg and Peter Cooney began their journey as Classic Builders in 1996 and have always believed that Kiwis deserve the opportunity to own their own home. They saw a growing need in the market for quality, value-for-money homes built by honest, agile, daring and creative people. Classic Builders has gone from strength to strength ever since.

Founded in the Bay of Plenty, Classic Builders is now one of the largest residential building companies in the country. From Queenstown and Canterbury up to Wellington, Waikato, Auckland and Northland, we continue to expand our reach while initiating change toward a better future for housing in New Zealand.

While standing on their own merits as individual businesses, Classic's group of companies often work collaboratively, utilising the broad experience and specialist expertise available. The diversity of the Group enables a Classic company to confidently commit to a variety of complex projects and initiatives, streamlining processes and maximising efficiency over the course of delivery.

Classic Kinect specialises in the construction of transportable buildings for residential or commercial use. We are NZ owned and operated, and we take pride in buildings that provide quality craftsmanship at affordable price points.
